Thanks for reading through this I'm totally up for feedback and criticism I just think that this is an interesting detail that hasn't been mentioned before and could help future theories. This would place season 5 episode fourteen (our biggest gauge of how long it's been since the great mushroom war) around at least 2996. A lot of the words used might have been known before the 90's but the majority of them came into popularity in the 1990's with the rise of computers. This could also explain one of the big inconsistencies with the theory that the great mushroom war happened in the 1980's with some of the slang and language that Finn, Jake, and other characters in the show use. But Jake himself say that the phone is a camera phone meaning that the war must have taken place the the 2000's (or after 1999 depending on the source), because that's when the first camera phones were released publicly and available to buy. But in season 4 episode 5 you can clearly see Jake with a flip phone, which would make since if the war was in the 1980's or 90's because they had been released by Motorola at that point. Until now I've only ever seen theories suggesting that the great mushroom war happened in the 80's because of Cheers and the appearance of cassette tapes and VHS tapes. I recommend getting this on hard difficulty on level 18 (Angaso), converting enough buildings until you have four forges and then letting the AI bash your defenses until you have 5 star morale. While rewatching Adventure time I saw something that I think really narrows down when the Great Mushroom war might have happened. Finding the date of Adventure Time’s Great Mushroom War (again) So a while ago I made a post where I tried to narrow down the date of the Great Mushroom War. Perhaps Adventure Time is set in a timeline in which the Cold War didn't end with the collapse of the Soviet Union, and it yet continued until Nuclear War broke out. Also, the crater wasn't caused by the Great Mushroom War/World War III. This achievement requires you to reach 5 star morale whilst having four forges under your command. There have been instances in which early internet culture and noughties tech have been referenced. I recommend getting this achievement on the same level by simply defending your starting villages on hard. Self-explanatory once you've encountered morale on level 11 (Veymarn). I recommend doing it on easy, as no difficulty is required. Mathroy suggests using the Duplex I Conquest map, which may be easier. 1 In-Game Mushroom Wars is a dynamic real-time strategy game, where smart strategy meets furious action in epic PvP and PvE battles. This is a fan video i made using the episode 'Simon & Marcy' from Adventure Time, Murray Golds 'Im the Doctor' music, and soundbites from various episodes. You can use any map that meets these requirements, I used level 16 (Vituhburg) for this achievement. This also means that you'll need a 14th village for your enemy, so that you don't directly win when capturing the 13th village. Now, let's do some maths: The maximum capacity of a level 4 village is 80 men, that means you'll need 13 villages of your own, having the maximum possible amount of troops and all villages upgraded to level 4. In order to upgrade a village to level 5, you'll need to have 999 men in your village. Can be achieved in any campaign level by simply getting bashed by a normal or hard AI and then sending your last troops in an empty enemy village just before your last village is captured. If you've already finished the campaign, you should have netted this whilst doing so, otherwise I'd recommend finishing a few Skirmish matches until you have it.Ĭapture an enemy building without having any of your ownĪlso self-explanatory. In Finn the Human, it is confirmed that Marceline met the Ice King before the war as they were together before the detonation of the Mushroom Bomb.
